Day 3 - It was still gloomy so I wore colorful clothes to ward off the gloomy feeling.

We went to Heritage Park for my Aunt's 6th year death anniversary and at the same time its my nephew's birthday. It was a hot day indeed, good thing they had installed a huge tent for the family and it was a bit windy... especially if you whistle and call the wind. The celebration started with a mass followed by lunch. After that the family went on with telling funny stories, getting updates about our other relatives, kids playing with their tablets and some running around and the others laid down mats to relax and enjoy the afternoon. But for me and my 2 nephews, we have other things in our minds... and that is to take pictures. :D

The day for our convention finally arrived and as I've predicted {haha not really, it was accuweather.com who kept me up to date with the country's crazy weather for the past 2 weeks}, it did rain and it was accompanied by strong winds. By the time we arrived in Tagaytay the road was covered in fog, it was frightening coz' we couldn't see the road that well. It was a good thing Daddy Concepcion was good at driving. A few minutes after we arrived in Tagaytay, we managed to locate the venue.

The cold wind awakened my sleepy soul as I stepped out of the van. I love the cold and tingling breeze of Tagaytay. It's gonna be a good day.

Super foggy :|
My co-workers told me stories about their experience in the past 2 convention the Philippine Society of Nephrology held. The told me about the "UNLI_KAPE", "UNLI-SAGING", & that I wouldn't have to worry about my stomach because the serve delicious food. Indeed, their stories were true. For our breakfast we have our choice of variant, either Tocino or Bangus. The food were served in a box; a good thing because buffets can be chaotic during big conventions- lalo na sa mga taong PG hahahahahaha! And they also served us tiny bottled waters; they have water dispensers so we could refill our bottle- I also have to add "UNLI-TUBIG"! Two hours after breakfast they served us Ensaymada, me and my co-worker made coffee to go with it. Just as we were about to sit down and sip hot coffee to fight off the cold and prevent us from dozing during the presentation, they announced that we could go outside and get freebies from sponsors. AND SO WE DID! hahaha we dashed outside and frantically ran from booth to booth! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Plus I got to talk to people I trained with last year!

Our sponsor for this convention. Thanks B|Braun!
After all the ruckus and chaos we then went on with our previous endeavor, and that is to drink coffee. I ate the Ensaymada along with my coffee which in the end was a wrong move because a few minutes later after I finished eating my said snack, the servers were now handing out food for lunch. :| They had two variants, Fish Fillet and Chicken Adobo. I wasn't able to eat my lunch so instead I listened to the speaker as it was a working lunch.

The convention focused more on the nutrition for hemodialysis patients and how most of our patients are malnourished. It gave us a whole new perception about the patient's proper diet and that totally avoiding foods which we think are bad for our patients can actually worsen their health. There has to be balance and each patient should have individualized diets from Nutritionists/Dietitians. {May natutunan naman pala talga ako! hahahaha!} And by mid-afternoon they served us Suman, which I also didn't eat. :p but I did bring the food home with me.

By the end of the seminar we had a raffle draw. I do admit, all the prizes were like pricey and the two major prizes are like-"What??? They just give those away???"-hahaha!!! The two major prizes were Samsung Galaxy Tab & an iPad Mini for crying out loud!!! God I wish I was that lucky!

                                                                                          Anyhoo...

I also took pictures as I was the assigned photographer for that day. Here are our pics.

I was trying to put together an outfit for a convention I'm going to attend this weekend and the venue is in Tagaytay. Knowing that the rainy season is here, I just had to make myself warm and comfy. I was planning on buying rain boots but the ones I saw were way expensive and the ones that are affordable  will be delivered after 30 days. Haha. I guess it was God telling me not to buy rain boots... and so I looked for another outfit and it was the perfect outfit for the convention.

I'll be wearing my printed gray dress from F21, a thrifted sweater, Leg Love stockings & penny loafers. For my accessories I'll be using gold, white & brown tones.

Who said tights should be plain & boring?
I like how it was accessible to buyers... I found my pair at SM Department store. I do wish that they had more designs on their skin-tone tights because most of the designs are in black. :| anyhoo.. I still love the pair that I bought. It's simple, girly yet sexy.

Watch out for my lookbook.nu post next weekend.

Question: How many more sequels will "Fast & Furious" make?
Answer: As long as there's fast car scenes, hot men (e.i. Vin Diesel) & hot women (e.i. Michelle Rodriguez), gorgeous race cars, amazing locations, explosions, cool high tech gadgets & heart-stopping, gut-wrenching fight scenes... I really don't care how many sequels they make. Hahaha

Before Fast 6 was even shown on cinemas, me and my boyfriend already planned on watching it.  Luckily our plan pushed through this time because when Iron Man 3 was shown we weren't able to watch it. Booo :| We watched at SM Southmall because all the good seats at ATC Cinemas were taken. Another Booo :| but haay at least we'll still be watching F6! Yeah!
That's us at BonChon, it was my first time to eat there. The experience was okay, they got good food, I like the spicy version of their meals and they're affordable too. We both liked their iced tea, I wonder what they on their ice teas? Hmm. We also ordered Ko-Yo (Korean Yogurt), I like how the yogurt is sour and the toppings are sweet and its only 75php! I might go back and try the other flavors.

My Mango Sansrival & his Blueberry Torte.
And of course my "Outfit Of The Day" has been planned several days ahead of time dahil sobrang excited ako! I opted to wear what's best for the theme of the movie. Rugged & Hot. And yes, I was able to pull it off. ;p
